From Sunday, 25th to Saturday, 31st October 2026, the 64th University of Cape Coast Students' Representative Council (UCC SRC), under the Nyame Tease Led Administration, presents VITA NOVA 2026, a week-long celebration of student life, creativity, wellness, culture and community. Inspired by the idea of a fresh beginning, Vita Nova welcomes students into another chapter of university life through seven days of experiences that reflect the different sides of the UCC community. MONDAY, 26TH OCTOBER: START RIGHT CONFERENCE A day dedicated to personal development, direction and preparing students for the opportunities and responsibilities of university life. TUESDAY, 27TH OCTOBER: PINK TUESDAY The UCC community embraces the Pink Tuesday theme, bringing students together through a shared campus activity. WEDNESDAY, 28TH OCTOBER: HEALTH SCREENING, BLOOD DONATION & NHIS REGISTRATION Health and community well-being take center stage with a dedicated day for health screening, blood donation and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration. THURSDAY, 29TH OCTOBER: INTERHALL COOKING COMPETITION UCC's halls come together for a cooking competition celebrating culinary creativity, teamwork and friendly interhall rivalry. FRIDAY, 30TH OCTOBER: AKWAABA IN AFRICAN PRINT & MOVIE PREMIERE SHOW A celebration of African fashion and cultural identity, followed by a movie premiere experience for the student community. SATURDAY, 31ST OCTOBER: AEROBICS, FRESHERS FUFU PARTY, E-GAMES & ARTISTE NIGHT The final day brings together fitness, food, gaming and entertainment.
